McKesson and HCA Healthcare are pleased to announce a joint venture combining US Oncology Research and Sarah Cannon Research Institute. Effective October 31, 2022, the new Sarah Cannon Research Institute joint venture is a fully integrated oncology research organization aimed at expanding clinical research, accelerating drug development and increasing availability and access to clinical trials for community oncology providers and patients, including those in underserved communities. MYLUNG Consortium: Advancing Precision Medicine Options For Patients
As lung cancer treatment becomes increasingly personalized to include targeted therapies into earlier stages of disease, The US Oncology Network is proud to bring together a diverse set of organizations and stakeholders working across the spectrum of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) therapy, drug development and care to improve the lives of patients. A unique, collaborative real-world research consortium, MYLUNG will study up to 12,000 NSCLC patients in the community setting over five years.
